Fremont's housing stock — waves of construction from the 70s through the 90s across Mission San Jose, Irvington, Ardenwood, and Warm Springs — is hitting prime remodel age all at once. The oak-and-tile kitchens of 1988 are finally coming out, and most of them are being replaced with light, frameless shaker.

Fremont-specific advice
Pre-sale remodels: Mission San Jose sellers, a $4,000–$6,000 cabinet package plus quartz routinely changes list price by multiples of its cost. Stick to white or light shaker — buyers price-anchor on it.
The 90s tall-ceiling kitchens: Ardenwood and Weibel-area homes often have 9-foot ceilings with a soffit gap above the old cabinets. We stock 39"-high wall cabinets and matching crown to take doors to the ceiling — the single highest-impact upgrade for these kitchens.
ADU kitchens: Fremont's ADU boom runs through our value framed line constantly — a compact ADU kitchen typically prices out at $2,000–$3,000 in cabinets.
